It’s been an exciting time for us at Quiet Stories. We’ve just announced our first major project and already have some big names supporting us.
Last week we launched our Kickstarter for Video Game Abominations, a satirical encyclopedia about the characters we know and love within video games. We decided that we would sell the book exclusively on Kickstarter, for one month. So if it doesn’t reach its $15,200 NZD funding goal, no one will ever be able to get their hands on a copy.
It’s been a slow start but an exciting one. We’ve been following Backer Kit and Kicktraq’s analytics and so far we are 4% of the way towards our funding goal, with $599 NZD raised. It isn’t as high as we would have hoped, but this is a learning process for the team.
Video Game Abominations has been featured on sites like; The Crowd Funding Center and Buzz and Chatter, who gave our Kickstarter a 4/5.
We’ve also had sponsored segments for Video Game Abominations on the What’s Good Games podcast (featured above) and the Easy Allies podcast.
