This was a really interesting piece to write. I took part in one of Goombastomp’s group articles, an opinion piece about sequels that have disappointed us. I was about 25 hours into Red Dead 2 at this point and was relatively harsh. However since then I’ve finished the game and it’s epilogue, and well, my opinion has changed somewhat.

I worked with the guys at Goombastomp earlier last year to rank the MCU in it’s current state. So in the lead up to Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, I thought I’d share the post here on my blog.
Telltale Games’ shutdown has been heartbreaking to watch unfold, and not just because so many incredibly talented people are now out of a job, but because the work those developers created meant so much to me. Telltale’s games have impacted my career, my life and how I view the medium of video games. Some of Goombastomp’s writers and I got together to discuss some of our fondest memories with their work. Avengers: Infinity War has received almost universal praise, but I just don’t understand why?
E3 has come and gone for another year. Once again we’ve been bombarded with intense trailers and thrilling announcements, but the question stands, what game wowed us the most. We teamed up with Goombastomp to lay out the biggest and greatest announcements from E3 2018, but this is Quiet Stories game of the show.
